1. Before Your Appointment

To get the most out of your consultation, it is best to have a recent diagnostic hearing evaluation completed at a local clinic. If you already have results, a PDF copy of your audiogram is ideal and can be shared before or during the session.

This information helps us have a more focused and productive conversation about your options. If you do not have a hearing test yet, that is okay, you can still book a consultation, and we can guide you on the best next steps.

2. During Your Appointment

Your consultation takes place virtually through a secure platform called Jane. Once your appointment is booked, you’ll be prompted to create a Jane account if you don’t already have one. This allows you to access your appointment details and ensures your session is fully protected and confidential.

On the day of your appointment, a secure video link will be sent to you through Jane. Simply click the link at your scheduled time to join the consultation, no software downloads required.

You will need a computer or laptop with a camera and microphone, along with a stable internet connection. Headphones are recommended for the best sound quality, but if a loved one is joining you on the call, speakers will work just fine.

If possible, having a family member or friend nearby can be helpful. They can assist with any technical setup and be part of the conversation about your hearing care options.

3. After Your Appointment

Following your consultation, you will receive a personalized summary report. This includes:

  • A summary of what was discussed
  • An overview and explanation of the hearing test results from the clinic (if provided)
  • Key insights about the impact of your hearing loss
  • Recommendations for your next steps

This written summary is designed to give you a clear, unbiased roadmap as you navigate your hearing care options.
